Amazing vegan Easter biscuits

Mix the oil with the sugar until the sugar dissolves.
Mix the baking soda with the orange juice and add it to the mixture.
Add all the other ingredients except the flour.
Gradually add the flour to the mixture, until it comes off the sides of the bowl and knead it lightly by hand.
Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Shape the biscuits into whatever shape you like and place them on greaseproof paper in the tray you will use to bake them. Leave a gap between them as they will rise and expand.
Brush the biscuits with a solution of water with honey and sprinkle them with sesame seeds.
Bake at 160 degrees Celsius without the fan for 15 minutes.
235 grams orange juice
235 grams olive oil/vegetable oil (half and half)
160 grams sugar
1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
550 grams self raising flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
half a teaspoon clove
Zest of a lemon
water and honey mix
